Sample Meeting Proposal Letter

[Date]

Dear [First name],

I hope this letter finds you well.

I am writing to find out if you would be able to meet with "angel investors", [Name], [Name], and [Name], on October 19, 2011, at the Marriott to present them your business plan.

As you are already aware, all three of them happen to be my long-time clients.

I brought up the subject of your invention over the weekend and they are enthusiastic to know more about it and to find out if your business plan is worth underwriting.

They have graciously agreed to devote the entire evening of October 19 to meeting with you and discussing your business plan.

I strongly advise you to bring along the prototype you showed me, which you are understandably eager to keep under wraps as much as possible.

Although I cannot guarantee the trio will finance your business plan, I can with confidence say that they may be able to at least point you in the right direction.

Do let me know if you can meet with them on October 19. They are willing to postpone the meeting to a day or two earlier or later, depending on your schedule.

Although I will not be able to attend the meeting, I will of course stay until the introductions are made.

Do confirm your availability at the earliest.

Sincerely,
